ABOUT CAMP

Camp is held at Camp Marist in Effingham NH on 250 wooded acres on beautiful Ossipee Lake, one of the largest lakes in New Hampshire. Wag It Camp has exclusive use of this facility.

Wag It Camp offers a combination of a vacation at the lake, A variety of training workshops, opportunities to participate in Wag It Games and earn titles all mixed in with time with friends and lots of laughs. It does not get much better than that!

There is something for the novice to seasoned trainer and for puppies to senior dogs.

Everything is included - meals, accommodations, workshops and Wag It Games tests.

Campers come from as far away as Virginia, California and Canada returning again and again enjoying time with their dogs and renewing friendships.

Camp is limited to 26 campers to create camaraderie and offer lots of personal attention from our dedicated staff.

We love to train but we LOVE to laugh too so pack your sense of humor and plan on some silliness and laughter.

Who should come to Wag It Camp?
Are a dog lover who enjoys training and learning new things in a supportive and lighthearted setting? Does your dog have basic manners and is comfortable in group settings? If the answer to both is yes, we would love to have you join us.  ​


Wag It Camp Dog Restrictions and requirements
This is NOT an "off leash" camp. Dogs are expected to be on leash unless appropriate for a workshop activity or in a designated free play area.

Dogs with the following behavior and or training are not appropriate to attend camp.

  • Dogs that are reactive, fearful or have any history of aggression.
  • Dogs that are likely to become over aroused, disruptive or unmanageable in a group workshop setting.
  • Dogs that are likely to become aroused, excited, bark and or lunge towards other people with their dogs moving about camp.
  • Dogs that may be exhibit excessive barking.
  • Dogs that have trained in any protection or attack type training.
  • Dogs that are left in their cabin must remain so quietly. Barking for more than three minutes consecutively or frequent outbursts will be considered excessive and may result in being asked to remove the dog from the camp grounds.
